Test Accessibility

Doing our outmost to cater for the needs of all our candidates

Exam accommodations are modifications we make to tests or testing conditions that enable people with disabilities and/or limited English-language ability to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in an exam situation.
The most common modifications are: giving candidates extra time to complete a test, reducing the number of test items, allowing someone else to write down the candidate’s answers for them, and including text-to-speech conversation software which can read the questions aloud. In the case of non-native speakers of English who are not proficient, test accommodations include both bilingual glossaries or test questions translated into their native tongue.

How to Apply
If you have a disability, please fill in the Test Accommodation Application Form in order to request the type of solution you need.
Candidates with disabilities and/or special educational needs should submit their application for test accommodation, along with medical evidence, to the PM².EU no later than 2 months before their test date.

Accepted Documents

Medical report in English

The evidence needs to be provided in English. In case of a non-English medical report, a certified translation into English is required.

Original document

The evidence should be an original document on headed paper and include the name, contact details, relevant qualifications and signature of a recognized professional.

Clear statement of disability

The evidence should provide a clear statement of the candidate’s disability and/or SEN.

Justification of test accommodations ​

The evidence should clarify how the disability justifies special test accommodations.​

Degree of disability

The evidence must provide sufficient information on the type and degree of disability and/or SEN.

Use of appropriate tests

The evidence must include an assurance that it was obtained through appropriate and globally recognized tests and the results of these tests. All tests used must be specified.

Medical report provider

The evidence must be provided by a fully-qualified educational, clinical or chartered psychologist or other properly qualified specialist assessor. 

* The PM².EU will not retain or share your medical records. Test Accommodation applications are delivered to the Certification Committee’s Eligibility Verification Officer who will arrange for the appropriate Test Accommodation. Once you have completed your exam, your results will be funnelled along with the results of all other candidates to the certification committee, to be evaluated impartially and anonymously.
